Under German law, the competent authority is called: Marktüberwachungsstelle der Länder für die Barrierefreiheit von Produkten und Dienstleistungen (MLBF).

The MLBF checks whether economic operators comply with certain legal requirements. As a bank, we are also monitored by the MLBF.

If you encounter problems when using our services, you can submit a request to the MLBF. The MLBF will then take legal action against us as an economic operator if necessary (legal basis: Section 6 or Section 7 BFSG).

In your application, you can claim that we are in breach of a requirement of the BFSG. Or you can claim that we are in breach of a requirement of the Ordinance on the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSGV). (The BFSGV was enacted in accordance with Section 3(2) BFSG.)

The contact details for the MLBF are:

Address: Marktüberwachungsstelle der Länder für die Barrierefreiheit von Produkten und Dienstleistungen

If no satisfactory solution has been found even after you have provided feedback to the above contact, you can contact the arbitration board pursuant to Section 16 of the Disability Equality Act (BGG) in accordance with Section 34 BFSG.
