Chief Investment Officer ODDO BHF SE
Peter Reichel has been Chief Investment Officer at ODDO BHF SE since 1 June 2026. In this role, he is a member of the Global Investment Committee, helping shape the bank’s investment policy, contributing to strategic asset allocation decisions, and leading the Investment Office. He is also responsible for capital markets communications with clients and the media in Germany.
Peter Reichel brings more than 20 years’ experience in the international capital markets. Throughout his career, he has held positions as a portfolio manager, investment strategist, Head of Investment, and Client CIO. He has extensive expertise in developing and implementing investment strategies.
Before joining ODDO BHF, Reichel spent nearly two years as Managing Director and Client CIO at Anthos Fund & Asset Management. Prior to that, he served for six years as an Investment Strategist and Client CIO at BlackRock, where he was responsible for multi-asset strategies. Reichel began his career at Berenberg, spending a total of 13 years in asset management and most recently serving as Head of Investment within the CIO Office. Peter Reichel holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne.
